LET’S TALK 

First, I want to get to know you—your likes, dislikes, what inspires you, and your vision for the space. In this step we’ll talk about your goals and expectations for the project, and how we’ll plan to collaborate.

Next, we’ll explore the space in detail—dimensions, structural elements, views, and/or exposures, depending on the project. During this phase I’ll also note potential opportunities and challenges.

CREATE OPTIONS

I’ll start space planning and brainstorming solutions to achieve your objectives. This step is essential to ensuring an effective
use of space and that functional
requirements are met.

Test and Refine

Next step in the design process is sharing design options with you, and start narrowing down the choices. In this stage, I’ll verify building codes, ADA requirements, and make adjustments to achieve a perfect fit and work toward the final floor plan.

Experience your Vision

With a solid floor plan, I’ll be able to create 3D drawings of  exterior and interior designs, so you can experience what it will look and feel like. If you prefer a more realistic style, I can create computer renders.

Document + Build

In the final stage of the design process, I’ll create all drawings necessary for construction. These will allow the contractor to build exactly to the specifications outlined in the plan. I am also available to manage as another part of your project team, and ensure work is completed properly. See services options here
